MY FAMILY
Good day, Welcome to my blog! To start this post, I would to introduce and describe my family. I will consider my family as my life's greatest blessing. Family is a gift from God that lasts forever. Every family has a story to tell...Welcome to ours!
In my family, basically, we are six members altogether. My family consists of my mother, father and three brothers.
To start with my mother, she is the sweetest person and the kindest hearted woman I have ever seen. She is creative, helpful and loving in nature. She used to work as a teacher in a college but left it when my elder brother came to this world. She still runs a small business besides taking great care of her family. She is the anchor of our house and is definitely the driving force for our family!
My father is the cornerstone of our family and works hard to win the bread for our family. He is a great mentor for all of us. He works in a private company as a Regional Distributor and he is a super dad, our inspiration and guide. He cares and loves all of us and holds himself responsible for our family's well-being. He is our hero, friend and mentor.
My eldest brother (Gordon) He loves listening to metal songs and very observant when it comes to shoes and how people dress. He has a creative soul and art is his passion despite his academic background in information technology. He is one of the best friends and my hater at the same time.
My elder brother (Axl) is two years senior to me and he is a quiet one in the family, he talks often but he has a sense of humor. He often rivals me but more often inspires me. He is my co-worker in everything unusual or out-of-the-routine thing I do. He's planning to take Industrial Engineering in college. He's my hater too.
The little angel and the only mischievous family member is my youngest brother Andre. He is only 7 years old and he fills our home with her angelic smile. He is sometimes annoying and argues a lot but I can’t live without him. Toys and computer games hold his attention for the major part of the entire day. He loves to grab attention and complains about everyone just to grab some extra attention and affection.
The famous saying ‘Blood's thicker than water’ is quite true as I feel most comfortable and blessed being with my family members. I am sure I am lucky to have such a happy family where everyone has great contributions to help me become the person I am.
My family is important to me for different reasons. First of all, it is the place where I belong to. Literally, at the end of the day, I return to my home where my family lives. I cannot think that I am living without my family. When I was younger, my family members provided me with all forms of necessary supports and I am highly grateful to my parents for their unconditional supports they provided me and still they are playing the same roles as they did after my birth. I am happy with my three siblings and cannot imagine my life without them. My family is my life and thus it is most important for me than any other thing.
Family is something you can’t disassociate, all you got to do is embrace each other and make things work!
We all are imperfect. Trying to reach a consensus among ourself and making things work makes a family. After all it is also a relationship which we must respect and nurture.
So to describe family we can conclude that family is an ultimate foundation on which our emotional and intellectual aspects are built on. And it depends on us, how we build and portray our family.
